Instructions

Purpose

The purpose of the exam is for students to apply and evaluate key anthropological concepts we have been discussing in the course. Skills needed for the exam include: identifying and explaining key concepts, connecting concepts to cross-cultural examples, and producing/evaluating anthropological arguments. These skills will be used in future college courses. Students will increase their knowledge of cross-cultural perspectives for application in their daily lives.

Directions

The Final Exam will consist of 10 multiple choice questions worth 10 points each. You will have 45 minutes to complete the exam, and it is open book and open note. I strongly recommend that you use course materials, not Google. Information found through Google may not be anthropological.

The exam will become available for 48 hours before the due date, but once you open it, it has to be submitted in 45 minutes.

You will have two attempts on the exam, though different questions will appear the second time. The higher score will be kept.

How Can I Prepare for the Exam?

A study guide will be posted in this module approximately one week before the exam.

Criteria for Evaluation

Students will be graded on their ability to fully answer each question and demonstrate an understanding of anthropological perspectives on the issue.
