Entering Grades using the Grade Tray
Overview
Entering grades in the Gradebook hasn't changed much. Click on a gradebook cell, type a grade, rinse and repeat. So what's new? When you click on a cell in the Gradebook, an arrow icon in the cell will open the new Grade Detail Tray.
You can still grade through Speedgrader and the way you access Speedgrader from the gradebook has changed. Instead of clicking the down arrow next to the assignment name, you'll access it through the Grade Detail Tray.
Grade Detail Tray is new!
It was designed to help instructors input grades without fighting a giant table in the gradebook.
To access the Grade Detail Tray
- Click in any cell of the gradebook
- Click the right pointed arrow icon that appears in the cell
- This opens a pop-up with information about that assignment for that student, ability to grade or change statuses
